Prepare the TV
Connect the TV to Wi-Fi and free at least 100 MB of storage. Download the stable APK from the download page on the same network, or copy it with a USB drive.
Allow installs from unknown sources for the app that opens the file. On Google TV the path is usually Settings, Apps, Security and restrictions, Unknown apps.
Pick the right APK
Most TVs should use the universal SmartTube_stable_32.56 file. Nvidia Shield owners can pick ARM64 for a smaller download. If you see a parse error, try the ARM32 build on the download page.
Install step by step
- Download the APK Save the file from the download page to internal storage or USB.
- Open it with a file manager Use Files by Google, X-plore, or Send Files to TV on Android TV.
- Confirm the package Check that the installer shows com.liskovsoft.smartyoutubetv2 before you continue.
- Finish setup Open SmartTube, sign in with Google if you want, and pin the app to your home row.

Fix common Android TV issues
A parse error usually means the CPU build does not match. Install blocked means unknown sources is off for your file manager. A black screen after launch often clears after you update to the latest stable APK and clear cache once.
